I'm not speculating about her, I know the court system in the states. Right now Los Angeles County Jail is doing 60% on time because it's so overcrowded. At the state level it's even worse. The prison system is massively overcrowded in the United States (thanks to the war on drugs) so prisoners don't do more than 75% of their sentence. Take into account that she is a woman and that she was 14 when she was convicted the court will go easy on her and let her go early. Have to make room for all those pot-heads that we need to lock up for some reason in the states.
I got to take issue with She stabbed a man 107 times. What are the odds that she's going to be "re-habilitated" from that type of value system? Not because I do not agree about the guilt or weather the crime was heinous enough. People watch Hollywood movies and tend to believe that 1. If you hit someone on the back of the head their body will go limp and they will fall to the ground unconscious. This also works with a surprise sucker punch to the jaw. 2. If you stab someone in any vicinity of the upper torso their eyes will glaze over their vocal cords will seize up and they will tilt their head slightly, look towards the heavens and die within 10 seconds. I could go on an on about Hollywood myths. Like modern Sport compact cars with 1300cc four cylinder engines are magical and are fast. Aiming pistols sideways is the most effective way to fire a sidearm. blah blah blah. I think this happens all the time. She stabbed him once believing the eyes glaze over routine. It did not happen she had not prepared for this and there is no turning back 2 times same 3,4,5,6,7, shit this guy just will not die. At this point I feel bad for him and just want his pain to be over. 8,9,10, holy shit unbelievable. Then a frenzie of 97 stabs later the victim stops moving. This misconception I just sit back and keep my mouth shut about cause it serves the purpose of shocking a numb and stupid society into seeing a crime for what it is. But it is a misconception still the same.
That's funny Joe, because I've witnessed a murder. The guy was stabber, once, and bled to death. In order to stab someone 107 times you have to have a tremendous amount of malice, and a complete lack of empathy for that person.
I think joe has a good point though. Not saying he didnt sodomize her everyday for 12 years and that the sick fuck deserved it - in that case 107 isnt enough. But if she is just a teen ager high on Meth who is robbing her dad blind and when he confronts her about it she freaks and goes all charlie fucking manson on him. Just saying. But this is similar to the old man shooting the kid for fucking up his grass. Until we know all the details it is hard to make a conclusion about the situation and if she deserves to get put in a cell with a 300lb hermaphradite.
It could go either way. I bet smurf would blame it on the government. It's all their fault and they were stabbing him with a comet and just pinned it on the girl.
