Tying your dog up with duct tape and castrating him without anesthesia is cruel and abusive. Dogs are not insensitive to pain, and do experience fear as well. If you are going into any kind of medicine you will have to take an ethics course and they will tell you the same thing. In your effort to help your pup, you also caused him a great deal of anguish, obviously, or you wouldn't have needed the tape to keep him bound. I suggest you get you hands on some animal tranqs or numbing meds like novicaine if you are going to do this again. I am sure I am not the 1st person to tell you this either, and i can't believe i even wasted my time.
