    Damn Smurf!

Ok here is a deep theory for you so ponder this.

What if the Hindu's have at least part of the equation correct. What if the reason no one really knows when apocalypse occurs is because it happens currently. To go to heaven when you die is to get off of this ride here we call earth. On the other hand being reincarnated is where souls are doomed to hell. When Jesus died on the cross - went to hell and returned he simply went to the future?

Pretty trippy huh? I do not know the answers not saying this is the way it is I’m saying we need to stop being impressed with ourselves and what we know and start thinking about what it is we are not sure of which is about everything. What if reincarnation means just another ride? With a society getting more and more evil with time. Your chances of getting off of the ride are reduced with each ticket. Burning in the lake of fire just means doomed to suffering from warming trends and chemical contaminates in the water. We make our bed and we then sleep in it.

That's absolutely correct Joe. Imagine all those souls fighting for the perfect womb, but everything on this planet sucks anyways, so fuck... nothing you really can do, it's hell. Life's a bitch, and then it ends.

It is all got to end sooner or later. The new trick of the environ cronies will be to find and make convincing enough a theory that:

The environment is in dire-straights. The predominant influence on this derived from human intervention on Nature. The answer to the dilemma is to place persons into power positions that will evoke comfortable and radical change and reverse the trend. All the while appearing reasonable and realistic and trying not to drool over the idea of a power grab.

Yeah, because everyone has been listening to the Earth Liberation Front about that for the last 30 years. Oh, that's right, the Earth Liberation Front was declared a terrorist organization. You're full of shit Joe.

    Moderation is a good thing.

You're high if you think radical environmentalism is gaining influence. The environmental movement is being rolled back on nearly every gain it has made in the last 25 years. Name one area in the last 6 years where environmentalism has one a major victory in Congress or in the White House?

A large part of our fuel cost paradigm is due to a lack of refining ability however the environs have effectively blocked attempts by our Oil companies at increasing their refining capacities. For more like 30 years I would call that a victory. Ditto for Nuclear power plants as well as power plants in general or power lines in California. The real blame for the rolling power outages there in California. They consider that a victory. None of the truth about their dirty laundry is aired to the people. That is scary.

Oh well, if nobody gives a damn about the life on this planet then a curse upon them all. Oh wait, that's what the end of the world's for! You'll see Joe, when the economy spirals downward and the world gets to blaming us for their woes.

Sure so long as there is a two party system and one parties grip on power is solely based on America hate, ethnic hate, religious hate, and rhetoric. Then the America hate propaganda will influence the world.

There all a bunch of gullible sperm wastes anyways.

Just read aninterview with poor hispanic second generation citizens. They believed that the chance of upward social mobility in the sates was good, and that increased spending on public services would be a threat to US defence

I dont know what infotainment they fed you in the marinecorps Joe, but I must respect the professional skill of your psychological department.

You guys remember how they made cheerleader C student Bush into a warhero. And decorated warhero "Heinzketchup" into a coward ? It is this ability to twst history that makes america great.

    However:

To point out that the world needs use of force within the forseeable future. Thats a valid point. ( And valid points are much more fun, as well as leaving the neo-cons like Joe with some honour intact ).

You over estimate the Corps or maybe underestimate depending on how you look at it.

I am really gassed up and pissed right now about the John Benedict Murtha incident right now so I'll accept the possibility that my judgment is clouded and I'm seeing through red colored glassed (to use a neocon perspective metaphor)

Fact is the Marine Corps only real psychological power stems from a tough boot camp. Constant preaching about the importance of honesty and integrity, and an ideal that perspective recruits are a part of an elite branch by comparison. There is that alternative culture from day one that are there strictly for their own gain and absolutely do not buy into the value of integrity and honor. Most of these are trouble makers and get out after the first enlistment. But the fact remains that there is easily one in just about every group that consists of more than 6 marines. Any one of these would jump at the chance to bring dishonor to the group as a whole so long as it was a convenience to them. With that I bring to you exhibit one John Murtha.

Did you ever find a transcript of what it was John Murtha said that made you so pissed?

I got a news clip from a news source that quoted him as bringing it up and when questioned later replying that they were guilty of attrocities this was on the 17th of the month. They sat on the story till memorial day.

    So basically yes

Was he referencing the Marine Corps as a whole or specifically the Marines involved in this incident?

He probably didnt want such fuckups to smear their integrity. Same as Joe want to back them. Same differentiation of tactic goes in the Sunni and Shia camps. People can still be loyal to their base. Even theoretical objectivity can be based in love of own culture. ( Though "own culture" sounds like pre-war crap. We are all influenced by all najor cultural areas. ( Fortunately ).).
