I think 'moron' is an acceptable term for people who don't appreciate the rule of world law and the role it plays in preventing the human race descending into all out chaos? Here's a clue. You don't defend the laws to prevent barbarism and tyranny occurring by breaking them. We are all human, so what makes any nation above the law? Perhaps 'arrogant little imperialists' is more befitting.
mo*ron ('mor-"än) Etymology: irregular from Greek mOros foolish, stupid 1 usually offensive : a mildly mentally retarded person 2 : a very stupid person Yeah, I'm ok with that. No, you don't. So, we've not removed an iron-fisted tyrant but merely replaced him with one of our own? I see your point. We tell other countries that they can't have nukes, but we have them. We have them because we fully understand and appreciate their power. No one knows more about WMD than a country who has employed them. Ask Japan. Arrogant? Sure. If only I had humility, I'd be perfect. Imperialist? (Imperialism - the policy, practice, or advocacy of extending the power and dominion of a nation especially by direct territorial acquisitions or by gaining indirect control over the political or economic life of other areas) Ouch. OK. Little? No. I'm too arrogant to accept that. Me? I'm a hypocritical sexist smarmy apathetic demagogue with more personalities than Sybil (and those are my good qualities) ;D
What do you think would have filled the power vacuum in the 20th/21rst century if the United States did not exist? Do you really think there is a rule of law? Rule of law is just an illusion that you get when you live under a power big enough to convince you that what they say is the rule of law should be the rule of law. If you were living in Nazi Germany the rule of law might include turning in Jews to be gassed.
Maybe the rule of law you are referring to is the remnants of the principles and ideals the United States had in the past (some of which we still hold some maybe not) when it set up the UN or maybe the league of nations which was really just a way of the United States telling the world what the rule of law is and trying to make it official sounding by setting up these meetings of diplomats from all differnt countries.
Dan hired a ghost thinker....or maybe he just quit the meth. Dan - you actually make a little sense these days. You aren't right mind you, but at least you are coherent.
