It seems simple enough to me. One is dark humour and the other is dark reality. The fact Dwaine is usually so thick skinned is to me the biggest clue as to why on this occasion you should probably just shut it. Unless you would like him to demonstrate how 'whiney' and 'sensitive' you can be about certain subjects. I somehow doubt 'How do you make Barry's grandchild cry?' jokes would go down with too much jovial backslapping or hilarity.
Yeah, but what if someone in here had a baby and it was raped? It's ok for Dwaine to make raping baby jokes but someone mentions his uncle who was tragically murdered (and I'm not trying to be a dick. That really sucks, man. I'm sorry about that) and it's taboo? Any kind of 'dark humor' is 'dark reality' for somebody else. I think it would be a good idea to get back to posting pictures that make you laugh.
Well, if that was the case, i'd advise against making baby raping jokes unless of course whoever made them was willing to take the consequences for being such an all out, evil bastard. But you could hardly accuse someone who had actually suffered such a scenario of being whiney and oversensitive for getting fucked off at people joking about it.
I agree. So it's probably safe to say that, when considering making a joke at someone else's expense, you have to imagine yourself in either the butt of the joke's shoes, OR the shoes of someone who just happened to read or hear your joke and, if you were one of those people, and you can see how your joke was over the line, then you might want to reconsider if that 'joke' is actually funny or not. Unless you're making fun of the people with no sense of humor. And in that case, fuck em' if they can't take a joke.
