depends on your state. In California they cost an arm and a leg. In Arizona/Nevada/Texas, those states they're much cheaper.
hell yeah, we have a gunshow circling around here. I can get a smith&wesson .40 cal 14 round w/ attached laser site for about 300 bucks. It's a really sweet gun, and actually I did get it. I need to get another one, then i'll be able to name them Law and Order. I also want to get an AK. The one I saw that has me licking my chops has a tripod and scope, and is about $450. The dude'll sell it to me no papers, since he thinks the end of the world is coming, too, and "we won't need no damn niggers raping our women!" I look white enough.
Over in Nicaragua you can get AKs and M16 over the counter. Dont think you need particular pigmentation either. That S&W sounds sweet. I think I'm much more comfortable with the idea of everyone owning firearms then no one owning firearms, at least from a legal standpoint. The last time I was down in Venice Beach I had some crazy tweaker motherfucker tell me it was illegal in Texas to own a home that didn't have at least one gun in it.
And he was stupid. I don't like the idea of everyone having a gun, because how will I be able to safely invade someone's home and rape them and take their shit if I'm not the only one packin' heat in there?
Guns dont work that way. They make people shot their friens and neighbour more than most and are about as efficient as the death-penalty for preventing murder. They dont prevent much rape either. The hollywood-scenarioes ARE NOT REAL: But guns look cool, and one gets a sense of empowerment by them. Its like a combination of an expensive pair of sunclasses, a thumb to suck and a psychologist that allways agrees with you. 123agunforme :wink:
Firearms are only empowering if you think the other guy doesn't have one. If you thought I had a gun too you'd be much more reluctant to pull yours.
I don't take my gun to work, nor do I rape the girls on the bus, according to the law I might, but not against their will. Not yet, anyways... the day will come though...
