No, phatboy, you idiot. Whatever caused the Martian lightning happened a long ass time ago. But maybe the lightning came from space, anyways:

There are sprites and blue jets which have been seen to occur high above very powerful storms. Even further up still we have seen glowing rings called Elves occur above them. What they appear to be (because they occur at precisely the same altitude) are glowing electric rings rippling across our ionosphere. After the ionosphere it's all space, baby.

It always amazes me how easy it is for people to blow this off, despite how much our ancient ancestors claimed that there were massive lightning storms in the past. That, combined with the evidence that is at least somewhat compelling to the person with a functional imagination should give it at least a little credence to the theory.

Our ancient ancestors also claimed that we had souls, and that there is all sorts of energy in us. This should have also been proven the moment science found that we indeed had electric currents travelling our nervous system, controlling our organs and muscles, and creating storms of thoughts in our bain.

How low have we stooped that we can't even say we know this anymore? You call me crazy, but I've looked at the evidence and brushed up on my history and it convinced me.

    Yep. We call you crazy.

You need to get a sense of humor. It could have been lightening from the moon that killed that poor bastard in Denver. Of all the 'wrong place at the wrong time' stories you ever heard, to get killed by a random lightening bolt from outer space.

I will forgive the fact that you called me an idiot because I made fun of you. You need to lighten up smurf, it seems funny that something so trivial as millions years old 'possible' lightening has you so worked up.

    Are you a tweeker?

Nope, it'd just be nice to see the big "washing over" that would happen if all this stuff started breaking out. All the news specials, movies, religious revivals, talk, and all sorts of cool things that come with the times.

It just makes me wonder where things would go in society, and how they would change. It's that kind of future that you imagine is so much different than your own time? Plus it's just important in and of itself.
