My work laptop is a crappy little HP, well Compaq is the model, an NC8230 business class latpop. I guess is the new version of the Armada. Not bad, widescreen, 17.1 display, just added a gig of ram to get it up to 1.5, other than that nothing special. I am trying to get them to get me new one, but I want a dell....especially since they started putting in AMD chips.
