I think, too really get rid of it, I would wipe the drive, re-install everything, then create a ghost image of it and then rock and roll. I hose mine up at work at least once a month, screwing with crap, and just throw the ghost image back on and I am back to normal, well the PC anyway. Another good tool to avoid screwing it up is to get VMPlayer, from VM Ware, they have a lot of virtual machines that you can set up, the Ubuntu web browser is pretty sweet. It uses firefox. VM Server is also free now, was GSX Server, and you can create a fresh virtual machine and not have to worry about hosing up your 'pc' while cruising the web for 15Year olds.
