I bought my nieces a couple of beanie babies (back when they were cool.. well, they were never cool to me, but I digress...) and those creepy little bitches dress them up. They think they are the Shining twins just because they have similar wallpaper in their room and they are both ugly and creepy.

I missed this post earlier... I'd like to see a picture of the plant, too. Hell, see if you can take some pictures of that guy's greenhouse, too. That's one of my long-term goals: having a large greenhouse and cross-breeding fruits/veggies (especially peppers!)

Have any of y'all seen the "Mother of Thousands?" (back to succulents again - click pic for info)

Each serrated edge on the leaves makes a bud that can fall off and start a new plant. Originally acquired as a "hitchhiker" in the pot of a nursery-bought cactus.

Pukey you have posted some really nice photos of abandoned buildings. You seem to be a natural at seeing something and understanding how it would look framed in a photo as a black and white or otherwise. I really like the sort of emotions those type of photos evoke. Struggle, solitude, peace, apathy, the inevitability of time.

    Cool stuff.

Aww... that's nice. I can take 25 pictures and only 1 come out decent though.

Old houses/buildings are my favorites to photgraph. I wish I had more on this computer. I will have to dig out some. I haven't taken any pics like that in a while. Everything is being torn down and I am too scared to trespass anymore.

The picture angle was misleading. It's really just sharing the same pot. The one in the front was the one I was concerned about. It is in a cactus mix potting soil from Calloways nursery which is big on pearlite. I will start watering it regularly. That one I actually purchased as is together in that same pot.

    I'll post a better picture.

One thing about this plant I noticed they packed the soil nice and tight I wonder if cacti like well trained and tightly packed soil?

The other two I potted myself and they are not packed super tight.

Looks like there would be a cascade there on the left side.

Here is the one you speak of I guess?

Who know maybe one of these days I will get to Europe and be able to spend some time traveling. Being a typical tourist I guess it would be nice.
