I bought a mac a few months back - Love it, really. It took a while to get used to, being on Windows for so long, but I wanted to re-learn the Mac. Haven't done anything groundbreaking with it yet, but it's nice to have both setups in the same room. Next priority is Linux - Just need more tables in this room...
there is a PC alternative OS in the form of linux, its more technical though, its doesn't have to be a windows pc as such. if you're patient linux has a crapload of applications and support from the community ( a lot of linux versions are free ) its also faster and more stable than windows
I have a mac laptop I was issued for work, I am by no means a whiz, I could barley use my old windows laptop. The mac is much more user centric, and user inuitive, best piece of technology I have ever had. The media presentations I* make for our clients are spectacular. * by I, I mean the media people at HQ, I naturally take credit for all of their work.
