Nur I have my own board to run. I have no interest in doing anything here. The person that does get selected should only be allowed to delete the spam.

Quit talking about who should be selected to moderate. That isn't going to happen. Nobody will moderate. Has anyone taken the time to look at other board software?

Instead of having someone mod the board, could you turn off auto registration and manually authorize new users? I dunno. Sounds pretty time consuming and tedious. Tommy, sometimes I miss being your "mum".
I nominate Judge Floro to be nobody. He seems honest, and with his special powers he could put an end to all spam by cursing the senders. Eventually they all die - and POOF! - no more spam. The world could be a better place Jefe. Think about it.
Then the place will fail. There is no magic fix to spam. Not talking about a mod just someone we all trust to delete the spam and that's all. No ban powers or anything else. You have to have someone for clean up on a board. If your not around to do it then you need someone. Like I said before boards don't run themselves.
