There are about 5,000 better uses for the money. That's just one of the reasons the war never should have happened. Read Federalist Paper number 4, that's a good starting point.

HAHAHA Joe the idea of you being tough cracks me up because I know you're a fucking idiot and you don't know what the hell you're talking about. Why the hell do all these people hate us Joe you dumb fuck? Because in their damn eyes we drive big, stupid SUVs because we're America fuck yeah, even though the world's in the middle of an oil crisis. We eat so much damn food while the rest of the world is starving. We bomb the shit out of countries that don't go along with our policies, consume the most, pollute the most, oppress the most, have the most crime, and have the worst attitude about it all. Instead of being cool and apologizing for all our bullshit we mock the world like "Fuck Yeah!"

And here we are, on the brink of financial collapse, and your bitch ass still wants to keep this fucking attitude. We got to be cool, or else we're all going to have a bad time. It's called diplomacy, and not that phony ass kind. We need that oil, dude.

Aw screw that Dio it was a righteous thing to do. Any gains the scumbag terrorists have made have been because of out own people fighting against ourselves. Iraq has a lot that is better off. And that is due to our good hearted nature. We could have just removed him and his cronies and left the rest to fend for themselves. That Shitbag in charge over there had vowed to strike us and would by any means possible. And he was making the means possible and thumbing his nose at use and the U.N. this point is so easily forgotten in the mind control minutia out there to distract.

But long term the best defense is eliminating the need in the first place for Oil. Why we are not exploring and drilling for oil in Alaska is beyond me. Hydrogen power I believe will never really happen. Alcohol maybe that’s the best alternative to concentrate on. I'm no genius physics with a degree in thermodynamics would be nice if one of us were. Could add to the enlightenment of the discussion.

I don't think the issue is supply, that's why I'm not in favor of Alaskan oil drilling. The current corporate structure in the United States is not what Adam Smith had in mind when he wrote "The Wealth of Nations." Marx took it a step further when he spoke of efficiency driving social progress. Innovation is the solution to this problem, and the big corporations are not doing that. We need to switch from steel manufacturing to carbon fiber plastics. It would cost a huge amount to do, but would pay itself off in a few years in increased efficiency and longterm material costs.

Steel = recycle , Carbon fiber = waste dump ?

nah, it's a combination of carbon fiber and plastics. Instead of using carbon fiber alone or plastics alone you use both, embedding the carbon fiber into a plastic mold in a mesh pattern, which dramatically increases the impact strength of the steel. Carbon Fiber as far as I know is not a re-usable resource, but there is reason it couldn't be in the future, and plastic is easy to recycle. I'll find some links for you if I can. The ultimate material for manufacturing vehicles using current technology would be using carbon nano-tubes layed into a ceramic composite, but that would be prohibitively expensive for the time being.
