I hear those torrents are real popular with the kids. I don't know much about them though. Tell me more about it and maybe we can work that out too.
A torrent is a small, un-trackable file, that tells a program (Like Utorrent) what to download. For trading music, movies, and files. they shouldn't be any larger than 8Kb, so they are small files.
Hosting the files (being a tracker) is illegal, I hear. That's why Torrentspy is the MAPP's favorite person in the World these days. You know, we have enough wanna be doctors in here. What we really need is a wannabe lawyer.
yeah, but w wouldn't be hosting a tracker, we would just be sharing torrents to other trackers. For example, lets say I want to share "Let It Be" by the beatles. I get the torrent, from demonoid, it's shared on the demonoid tracker. I share the torrent, you get the torrent, you are downloading, and sharing through Demonoid, not the fugly forums. The Fugly forums is just sharing the torrent TO the demonoid tracker.
Ok, so let me see if I get this. Sites like Demonoid are trackers? And a tracker does.. what? Does it keep track of which computers out there hold the many different parts that are indexed by the torrent file? Seriously, I don't really know how torrents work. I need to read up on it. What is the difference between a torrent file holding site, and a tracker site? What makes a site like fulldls.com, for example different from demonoid? It torrentportal a tracker too?
Whatever. We know you got the box set. I am thinking of changing my username to Karen in honor of the most beuftiful singer in the world. :-*
Actually, I'm just joking. I have never bought any carpenters stuff all though I am sexually attracted to karen carpenter even though she is dead. I mostly listen to the stones, sublime, dwight yoakam, ect...
I have downloaded some free carpenters music. My father for some reason liked the carpenters when I was a kid which may explain the weird sexual attraction I have for her. He would play it all the time but, he is 80 years old now so you really can't compare him to the standards of today in terms of his taste in music which gravitates toward sinatra, big band, and so on.
