That will not fly. The reason is because of the context of the whole thread being in regards to entitlement spending and raising -vs- lowering taxes and the effect on overall tax revenues. You're statement being that you paid more because you made more is not relevant to the conversation. It's all there Grim. Fact: Taxes were lowered not raised (except for the top percent of payers) Fact: Revenues went up. (due to increased economic activity) Fact: when taxes are raised economic activity will decrease, and there will be less tax revenue. Historical figures prove it.
