By god you sound like a libertarian and pretty close to the same way I see things. I'm just frustrated as hell to see the way things have turned lately as well as the acts of treason committed against our country by our own people and them walking all over a constitution I swore to defend. http://www.texasworkforce.org/ That is exactly how they do it here in Texas you have to work for the unemployment commission basically and if you cannot show you are actively looking to find gainful employment they can and will cut you off.
It's the only way to trim the fat off social welfare. In Norway I believe, they have an immense unemployment ratio but not because there are no jobs, the welfare is too good. They get way too much money, comfortably so, and don't have to look for work. Now they worry because there isn't enough people that pay taxes to support all the ones that don't. In Canada we don't have a pledge of allegiance but I live here and I want it to be a great to place to live. I want my country to be prosper and for that to happen some people have to be cut off. Social welfare is for people that have no other choices such as the disabled or the elderly, other than that there is no good reason to beg the government for money. A little dignity would help I think, you will never see me beg for money as long as I live.
