Its not about that its about exploitation of the black race. As well as taking them for granted and and example of factual proof way of the slick talking senator from Illinios.

Talk about taking something someone says "hook line and sinker" there is your perfect example.

A lot of classical developement aid has gone right in the pockets of a corrupt class of colonialist-culture burgoise.

( F.Fannon( Student of J.P.Sartre made studies of the colonialized mind that was supposed to lead the de-colonialisation ).).

The same could be true for the special grants for underprivileged in USA.

The politically left avantegard has anyway been critical in gaining equal rights for all men, based on gender, ethnicity and social standing. This has increased wealth for all, ( including the rich ).

To call the democratic party more or less "politically left avantegard" then the republicans might be a long shot though.

They compete for the same electoral mass, and gain the upper hand in certain societal segments through the same means. Since the campaigns are professionalized media-events, the political difference has slipped out the back-door.

The success of a certain kind of TV-series in shaping how americans view themselves might have given the reps an edge. "The President" just dont compete with "24" and "Walker, Texas Ranger"

Not a conspiracy though.Just a quest for simplicity in a complex world.

A slight edge to reps in fiction, and a slight edge to dems in factual TV.
    Creating "liberal media bias".
Please note that the fiction counts for more in formation of opinion than fact.

Duly noted and I've observed that for a long time. Thank god for the libs out there we need a balance system but the people do need to know the whole story.

Lately the whole political scenario and strategy by the media powers that be is one of destructiveness. And stirring up the hatred and discontent if the means to you end involves lying to masses of people in order to manipulate their response maybe you need to look at why you feel the need to use these type of measures. Nothing good is going to come of it.

And who exactly are these liberal media "powers that be"? General Electric? Disney? Fox? Viacom? Clear Channel?

Well Obama is not exactly a "media power that be" but the powers that be are more than willing to give his type a forum.

The most compelling arguement against liberal media establishment would be that its really all just exploitation of sensationalism.

And you could say that the "media powers that be" are simply victims of the same unwritten law of political correctness engrained in us from the public education system and then further propagated by the media.
I think all of them are contributing factors.

Problem with the theory of sensationalism and ratings is the obvious void. The reason Fox came from nowhere and was able to gain the largest chunk of market share in my opinion is they provide a servie extreamly lacking "Fair and balanced reporting"

The fact that the other networks have an irrational tendency to want to stick to their guns and suffer in ratings even though their bluff has been called by the public and actually begin to be more fair and more balanced is evidence enough of their bias.

    Are you wanting specific names?

Hey Joe, I have a question. If Fox is filling the void of "fair and balanced" reporting that is so obviously missing, in your opinion, then why don't they out do all the other news outlets combined?

Oh, that's because the public has been brainwashed by the public education system into believing that everything the liberal media says is true. But the liberal media influenced the school system, which then created the liberal media?

The only things I understand about your argument are that it's circular reasoning and it's bullshit.

I've got some shelters that I'm looking at, plus I know some good enrolled agents and tax people, so it shouldn't hurt too bad. I'm not going to bitch because I've gone from the lowest tax bracket to a higher one. If I make $150,000 over the next twelve months, and pay $50,000 in taxes, then I will still have about $90,000 more in my pocket then I would have had anyway.

Silly libertarian. You don't have lego's, you are too poor and uneducated from living in the ghetto to have legos. Only, I, the republican juggernaut can have legos. Maybe one day you will buy from my yard sale, but only if you can find the fuel for your Vespa to get here. =-D LoL

I interviewed at Help-You-Sell today. Much better short and long term opportunities with this lender, so I think I'm going to move all the way to the other side of the building from Cyberworld. With a 12x pay increase, but across the building none the less.

I sold my last house using "For Sale by Owner" as a guideline for most everything the contracts, finding a good title insurance company all that fun stuff to sell my last home of which I only lived in two years and had no real equity in. It worked out great not having to pay realtor fee. There is really absolutely no reason a realtor should make 6 percent or 3 on a split. Hell out there in Ca sell one 500k home and instantly make 30?

That is one industry where the realtors have rode the wave of real estate inflation to their benefit.

My father n law bought his Garden Grove home for something like 7k in I think 68. The realtor would have made 420 bucks.

Of course if the market supports it then what can I say? Don't be jealous go out there and get a realtor license. But I figured selling by owner and bypassing the realtor might be pretty popular over there in Ca.
