Nursey has good taste. D.J. Nurse-E say: RESPECT, for th' mutherfuckin TOOOOONZ MAN! i'll CHECXK THEM AAAAAAAAAAAAT! P.S. There better not be any of that 'happy hardcore' stuff in there! Rob tortured me with that.
LOL, no no, I didnt let him play that stuff around me either. I went off it after each song started sounding the same; a beat like two pins on a cake tin, a crappy piano riff and 'uplifting' whiney female vocals (usually sampled from songs before 1980). That sort of cheese always made me cringe and I was always into the darker heavier stuff, with an emphasis more on melody and elements that work together to make a complex, but funky, sound and speaker throbbing basslines. Essentially, how I make all of mine. If you have trouble finding any drop me a pm and I'll upload them to my ftp.
Here is the Nursey wrist slash / chillout session: The Verve - Bitter Sweet Symphony Mr. Scruff - Get A Move On Wu Tang Clan - Gravel pit Kelis - Trick me Morcheeba - World Looking In Rolling Stones - Wild Horses Air - All I Need Morcheeba - The Sea La AIR - Femme d'Argent Massive Attack- Teardrop Oasis - Wonderwall Moby - Porcelain *self-combusts*
Oh, and I think this is a good driving song... not sure why. Enigma - The Eyes of Truth Cross of Changes is Engima's best album, in my opinion.
Ah Enigma, with the album that sounds like its one long song. Return to Innocence killed them.. arf. Talking of music, my new song is nearly complete.. that now makes 44.. I've nearly enough quality ones to make an album of my own, but it would probably tank.
I have decided i would like to dedicate this song to the memory of limpy. She was taken from us all so suddenly, i am still in a state of shock and confusion. I ask myself everyday, what could i have done to change the course of events? Was my humour no longer "cute" (sic) to her? Should i have invested in a set of Encyclopedia Britannicas to engage her commanding high intellectual consonance and virtuosity? Was it because i put the word 'duplicitous' in bold in the post which saw the door finally close one last time behind her? We'll never know. But i just need to make this dedication as some sort of final closure. Maybe she is looking down upon us all right now, smiling. Fondly.
