Dang it's quite in here. Except for the soft sucking sound that is coming from the East. Of course that never really goes away.

My team won 34-0 and it was still ugly. The spread offense may not work on the Plains.

Auburn will be fine. The spread will be as good as anything. Players make plays in any system.

Alabama looked awesome, but I really believe that it was more that Clemson just sucked. They had zero emotion.

Clemson looked very flat. SC beat NC State, but it looked like NC State sucked like Clemson. Carolina plays Vandy on Thursday, so that should be a real 'test' for the cocks. Im hoping they win, so that way they will be somewhere around 20 in the polls when we smash the peaknuckle out of them. Then we go to the left coast to show Az State why the PAC-10 sucks and the SEC is the best Evar.

Its gonna be a fun season.

We did lose a DE on saturday to an ACL tear. Sucks, yes, but we have a handful of backups with experience so we should be okay.

    For everyone but Phil Fulmer.

Talk about getting your nuts crushed. Tennesse was far superior to UCLA. They screwed around and left them in the game, and then had to pull a miracle to tie it in regulation. The to simply MISS a chip shot field goal....

I bet Fulmer locked himself in the bathroom with a can of tape remover on the flight home.

Nah, he couldnt fly the whole way home without eating. He would be in a coma.

It ticks me off, cause now they are gonna get knocked out of the top 25. Sure South Carolina will be in, but I want everyone to play good, so when we beat em, we look better.

    :)

AP poll is out. Georgia slides to 2nd. I think that is good for Georgia. Being Number 1 all season is hard to maintain. Georgias loss of the D lineman is serious. It's hard to replace a legit All American, and the psychological damage is serious. I think that it will cost them a shot at the National Title. In the SEC, every inch counts. LSU won the NC last year with TWO overtime losses. Those games would not have been OT games with a healthy Glenn Dorsey. Games that go down to the wire need the edge a superstar gives. I actually would like to see Georgia do well, as long as they get their hearts stomped by the Tide.

Auburn can't hold number 9, and Bama can't hold number 13. With Auburn, they are just not mentally there. With Bama, it's just too young at this time. Missouri is a joke. They gave up 35 to illinois, and are ranked 6th. No 6th ranked team should EVER give up 35 to anybody. I pray that Ohio State goes undefeated, and meets a one loss Georgia in the BCS title game. I will die a happy man if Georgia forces a reverse hat trick on the Ohio Lug Nuts. Can you imagine the humiliation of losing three straight to the SEC?

Have you checked UGAs depth chart? Yea, losing Owens sucks, but we have quite a few behind him that are game ready. I think we slid because we didnt put an embarassing whooping on Georgia Southern, which is actually a good school that a lot of fans of UGA are actually Southern fans too. Richt isnt going to put a beat down on them.

This weekend is another 'cush' game, but we will see more of the other backs, like Samuel (who...ha ha ha) and King. I bet you guys are going, who is Samuel???

    TN / UCLA

I was hoping for an SEC win Monday night but if a team turns the ball over to you 4 times and you can't capitalize on it, what can you whine about? Kudos to UCLA for fighting back in it.

Clemson tumbled all the way out of the top 25. They probably had no business being there to begin with but I can't remember such a long fall after one week. Thanks, Bama, for opening up the #9 spot for us.

You have be happy for the UCLA QB. The kid came back after being humiliated, and looked good doing it. Clemson will fire Bowden after this season. The chemistry stinks. I predict a 3-8 slide for Clemson like Bama did under Dubose in his last hurrah.

I honestly dont care for the polls at all, Im sure you two agree, somewhat. I think the team that won it last year should start out on top till they are beat. I dont care about what the prognasticators say. It's like make it take it back yard basketball. It belongs to LSU till you take it. USC looked good (southern cal) if you consider they play in a conference about as tough as the WAC. I havent checked their whole schedule, but I have it around here somewhere...

Ok, I looked it over, here it be

@Va, Bye, Ohio St(2), Bye, @Oregon St, Oregon, Arizona St(15), @Washington St, @Arizona, Washington, California, @Stanford, Bye, Notre Dame, @UCLA(23)

    For Comparison

    Georgia Southern, Central Michigan, @South Carolina(25), @Arizona St(15), Alabama(13), Bye, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, @LSU(7), Floriduh(5), @Ky, @Auburn(9), Bye Georgia Tech

I think Ky might squeek into the top 25 once we get to them, Tenn wont be back in with games against Fl and Aub then Northern Illisnois before us.

The only poll that I really care about is the last one. And the only spot on that poll that matters is the first one.

Somebody in the SEC will kill him one day. I can hear the 'taint splittin' from here.

I did something today I have never done before. I actually bet on a football game. Three games to be exact. I almost hope that I don't win. That way I'll probably never do it again.

Took Alabama and -28. The Tide usually rebounds after stinking up the home turf. WK is not even a !A team. The Offense has to score 30 to satisfy Saban, and the D should be good for 7. I can't see WK scoring a bunch on 'Bama.

Also took Tulane +13 against ECU. I know that ECU beat West Virginia, but two miracles in a two weeks is a little much to ask. I thing that Tulane is a fair team. They will loose, but not by a lot. (I hope)

The there is the deal with UAB and Tennessee. I know that Fulmer's crew is better than UAB, but beating naybody by 30 points is a bit hard to do.
UAB has put up big offensive number both weeks. I think that they can score 17 on Tennessee. Canor better WILL Tennessee hang 48 on them? I hope not.

I was going to take SC and 10 against Georgia, but the line fell to 4 before I could bet. The number 2 team in the country is only favored by 4 over a 2 loss unranked Spurrier squad. Now thats what I call RESPECT!

You put too much on a bookie.

He is going to play on the 'in the past carolina has played UGA tough, yadda yadda.' Id take UGA with a 4 point spread. Easy.

Dont expect Richt to leave the gloves on against the teams first SEC opponent. Plus,t the defense is going to step up, we have been playing a lot of backups, and if you watched any of the games we have played so far we have run 1 blitz in 2 games.

    You played, do the math.

We let southern score. They are an instate team, of a lower level, both teams 'share' fans so no need to embarass them. CMU was supposed to have 'tebow light' as their qb (smaller and faster) we shut him down. The QB for CMU is twice as good as anyone Spurrier has. Their flailing is almost comical.

Calm down Peachfuzz. Yes I played, and was not very good. That is why I understand the Psychology that rules the College game. The Ghost of Spurrier haunts the hedges at Sandford Stadium and the hearts of Georgia's staff. I am certain that Gawga will win, but I bet that SC gives them fits for a time. The decreasing line simply means that lots of other bettors think that SC has a chance.

For the record, I think Georgia +4 is a sure thing.

I'll take Bama straight up right now against the 'Dawgs at home. Let's say that the loser has to video themselves buying a box of tampons for Icenhour.
