a 1989 Lincoln Town Car a 1994 Chevy S-10 an old ass Chevy truck that took off after hitting me various makes/models doors
2001 Ford F-150 Metallic Gold 2-door regular cab. Ran a red light and caught us in mid turn. He spent 8 days in ICU. I would have beat him to death had my son not been in the truck with me.
it crumpled pretty quickly. He was doing about 50, I had stopped my truck, bent the steering wheel, broke the brake pedal, busted the dash with my knee and the only 'damage' was to the grill and radiator.
I was driving my 05 Dodge 1500 4x4 crew cab Hemi Pretty freaking solid truck. My F250 is a whole lot more heavy duty, but I was suprised at the rigidness of the Dodge.
I agree what does someone need a fourwheel drive suv for in most places, half the people that drive them don't know how fourwheel drive works, they think it makes them invincible to any driving conditions.
This is very true. I get around in what snow I get just fine in a front wheel drive vehicle... so far anyway.
I have always had trucks, mainly because they are the most comfortable fit for me. I like 4WD because of the 'have it and not need it instead of need it and not have it' mentality. I have the big truck because of our camper, which if we sell the camper the truck is gone. We dont get much snow down here but we get the occasional 'gully washer' and Georgia Red Clay sucks a lot worse than snow (kind of like red slippery/sticky ice) its slick as owl shit, but cakes up real quick. I usually only drive it about once or twice a week to pump the oil through it and keep the tires from flat spotting.
