for christ sake 'lucy' you chloroformed me from behind and dragged me into a copse... the only memory i have of that night of frenzied passion (i surmised from the scratches i woke up with)... has been a fresh one constantly ever since....

Actually it's name was Sam and it lived a hell of a long time for a dog. Fifteen years.
