THe toxicoogy screen will tell them what drugs your blood tests positive for. If you have been driving and your alcohol level is aboce whatever they will report it to the police. Otherwise it is personal medical stuff that is private.

As far as the menstrual stuff is concerned, I just got off Provera to induce a normal period. This will be followed by a BCP and the menses should be normal again. Everything is kosher when I'm on the pill. I'm not anemic to my knowledge. I didn't lose much blood. It was more an annoying spotting problem.

I went to an endocrinologist when my prolactin level was high a couple of years ago. He told me that I was going to give myself diabetes with the way I eat. I have been a vegetarian for 14 years and I live on carbs. He was certain my glucose was going to be messed up and ordered it tested. It was a 96, so he pretty much wasted my time. He also said something about Syndrome X but I'm not overweight (I am certainly not a toothpick though), I don't have hypertension, my triglycerides are normal, BUT my HDL cholesterol is kinda low... it was within the lower normal range.

I have had an MRI of my pituitary gland it was within the upper limits of normal for it's size.

No one has tested my adrenal glands. A long time ago.. before I had the internet, I read about their function in a health book and wrote down "check adrenal glands". I have always thought that a lot of my problems are adrenal-related.

The only internal medicine DR I have ever seen was a gastrointestinal DR who told me I have GERD and irritable bowel syndrome and wanted to do an endoscopy to see how bad my esophagus was. I didn't do it because I only have reflux occasionally and take OTC Zantac and it goes away. As far as the IBS. I grown used to it for the most part.

Spanks a bunch for all of the input. If nothing is physically wrong then I have one helluva somatization disorder!

Eat some medium rare beef, drink some red wine, have a pint of ice cream and do the other things normal people do for about a week.

    I bet you feel better.

    I already know that.

Felt like shit today, BP was 138/82 pulse 94... this was after a Xanax, so I broke down and took the beta blocker. My heart rate has been nice and steady.

I pulled a tick off of myself tonight, so now I can move on to Lyme Disease/Rocky Spotted Mountain Fever.

so you have a BP sleeve?... do you have a blood sugar monitor too just in case you catch diabetes?

No wonder your heart rate/blood pressure are fluctuating/irregular. I'd imagine all that hyper obsessing over every minor deviation from your extremely clinical, neurotic, Whacko-Jacko-esque concept of well-being and normality must in itself be causing quite a few of the problems.

That was an effort to compose in my current state which is why its worded so crap. I should have just posted this:

...with old classics like that, you just can't go wrong.

Beta blockers are great drugs. They are very good for your heart.

I only took them twice. My heart rate went from 98 to 58 and it freaked me out. I bought a pill cutter and may just start taking half. I would be happy with pulse of 78, but 58? How much slower would it get when I was sleeping?

Have you had your hormones checked yet like I told you?

I do this for a living, remember? Maybe you could take my suggestion seriously?

Well, from now on since I switched insurance companies the fucking bastards at Blue Cross are not covering any of my DR visits due to 'anxiety' as it is a pre-existing condition.

I just finished my first week of Ortho Tri Cyclen and when I am on it, I think my hormones are pretty normal.

58 is not bad. Nml is 60-90. Asymptomatic bradycardia (slow heart rate) is no big deal. You are still in the nml range in my book. That pulse wouldn't even raise an eyebrow from any physician.

What hormone are you talking about? You sound like Vern from the movie's or maybe "ernest goest to camp". I thought she said she already had her thyroid hormone checked. As far birth control pills as the estrogen or progesterone abnormal levels wouldn't produce a fast heart beat unless maybe they were causing an anemia from heavy menstraul periods due to an imbalance in the estrogen and progesterone in the normal menstrual cycle.
