Well if no one dies then it MUST be ok. I'm not really a big fan of justifying unethical behavior because it's *less evil* than some other behavior. It's too much like justifying smacking your kids around because the guy next door beats the shit out of his and puts them in hospital on a regular basis.
But with abortion that is exactly what you do. Not going religious on you and taking a neutral position on it. Just an example.
Just drawing a parallel. It illustrates mind control and how it works. People are conditioned to respond to issues. Two similar issues in the sense that there is a decision of which evil to choose based on with is less evil. Or to look at it "pragmatically" which is more or less painful. The knee-jerk response to my proposal is to be appalled. But its actually very logical and more ethical then things they are conditioned to defend. I choose to not be conditioned but instead to think on my own two feet.
