I study psychology and never have I heard that... Dr's don't actually know what causes ADHD... it could be a number of things such as... brain damage from toxins, neurobiological brain differences, maybe even food allergies...
I also studied childhood studies at college (english version, not uni) and i had to do several work placements and the few i worked with who had ADHD... and there were a few, and the parents had never shown any discipline to the child... i believe ADHD exsists but parents use it as an excuse for there naughty little shits... that was my original point

Only saying what ive been told!!
