I agree with several points raised throughout this thread. Indeed, it *IS* the owners right/duty/etc to moderate it as he/she/it sees fit. Someone early on had it right though, in relation to this subject...it wasn't a joke, or meant to inspire some sort of meaningful(for lack of a better term) conversation. That was pure, naked, merciless hatred. I've said it before, and one more time now, we are here to read some posts, put in our thoughts(bizarre and twisted as they may be), but generally have a good time. Of course we banter back and forth...hell, if we didn't like the abuse we dish out, and recieve in turn, each and every one of us would leave...or bitch and cry until this was just another overly strict and serious forum. Christ, we came here to get away from all that bullshit. Martin, Jeff, and everyone else at Fugly provide us with a place to meet, shoot the shit, and fire insults at each other. Sure, sometimes shit gets deleted...BFD! If we posted the kind of shit we get away with here, on a "serious" forum, we'd all be banned after the first post or two. Lighten up people!

I will throw in my two cents worth: As far as deleting comments, or banning members, that is obviously the boardowner's prerogative. I don't think anyone should be surprised at that. What I wonder about is the motive in doing it. If Jeff deleted the guy because he didn't want the Fugly Forums to come across as a WP forum, then it's understandable. Those boards tend to get monitored and targeted by those people who really ARE out to take our freedom away from us. These are those hyperactive "tolerance" groups who have no interest other than imposing their will upon everyone else. If Jeff does not want to provoke those kind of shit-disturbers, I can't say that I blame him for not allowing potential bait to linger. However, if it is a matter of moral outrage, then I am not sure what to think. For the person who says that those who harbor a racially-based belief are ignorant redneck trash......what difference is there between him and the person who says that someone is going to hell because they don't believe in Christ? (and I think ALL of us here have been told THAT more than once) I don't really see any. If comments are banned out of the sake of self-preservation, then that is fine, in my opinion (which is exactly why everyone from BawlHall was banned). If they are banned because someone is personally offended by them, then I think someone needs to thicken their skin up a bit. But, I am not going to make any presumptions. I still think of this as my online home, and I will always hold you fine folks in high regard. Fuck you, and I love you.
People who think that "non-believers" will go to hell haven't been involved with violence, murders, pro-active hatred and violence gangs and other likewise things which the "kkk" WP people have been, to be fair the same goes for black panter, white hatred groups. this is of course not true historically, but thats not what we're talking about here is it.

Having a racial belief isn't a crime (although it may as well be, considering how everyone let those ridiculous ethnic intimidation clauses pass through legislation). If thoughts become crimes, we are all in big trouble.
