    CORRECTION: 'Iraqi puppet government'

Imagine being so stupid and gullible as to imagine that the government of an occupied land represents the occupied peoples' interests first and the occupying forces' interests second. Dumb dumb.

I can believe that 150,000 civilian deaths have occurred since the US invaded Iraq.

What I do not believe is that the deaths are fully attributable to the actions of the United States.

I wonder how many would have died if the US had done nothing?
Saddam had a track record that averaged 50,000 a year. That does not count that 1 in 23 children between the years 1987-2003 starved to death.

I copied this thought from another site - it is so true -

After being freed from ordered Egyptian slavery, the Jews bemoaned the chaos and uncertainty in the desert: "Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to make us and our children and livestock die of thirst?" Here, the Jews cried out – as the leftists do today – that predictable slavery was preferable to the challenges of uncertain freedom. Such thinking was wrong then and it is wrong today; order at the price of dignity and freedom is too high a price to pay, unless you are a leftist looking to score political points.

Those that long for the re-enslavement of Iraq? You figure.

Oh Jesus! It's obviously time to just step aside and leave the right-wing American 'Christian' nuts to it.

Who knows what the next few months brings it seems as if the U.N. and the insurgents have worked a deal with the networks. The insurgents go on death marches to kill civilians and the U.N. validates the numbers and reports them to CNN. CNN post the numbers in the headlines and takes polls to see if they are wearing down on public opinion.

They could not give a shit about the Iraqi people if they did they would not be the enablers for the insurgents doing the killing.

Meanwhile they will scour military reports to look for some military person they can slap a suite on because he could not prove a person dressed in regular civilian attire was an insurgent. In my opinion the General Iraqi public by far outnumber the insurgents. If a house hold is in any way conceivable assisting the insurgency then take the whole household completely out. Let the general public know that they may be terrified of the Insurgents who play by no rules but the allied forces should be just as feared or more feared. Then we would quickly get a handle on the situation and maybe a few thousand die so what most were guilty as hell. Any innocent bystanders although sad would be sacrificing for the greater good of less innocent’s dead in the long run.

This is exactly why the Geneva Convention rules do not cover far rules of engagement against a non-uniformed militia.

I was in that Desert in 90 and 91. So what the hell. But Dwaine in all seriousness cowardly is tying the hands of the military legally so all they get to do is walk around and get shot at just because you do not agree with the philosophical beliefs of the Commander n Chief. How about it?

You notice that the military has not had trouble meeting its recruiting quota? There are lots of citizens in this country that are willing to lay it on the line jeopardizing their safety for yours.

I’m not going to browbeat you for taking a stance that you believe because it was told to you that this is what popular opinion is. But I do wish you would think it through.
