    512 Obama Voters 11/13/08-11/15/08 MOE +/- 4.4 points

97.1% High School Graduate or higher, 55% College Graduates

Results to 12 simple Multiple Choice Questions

57.4% could NOT correctly say which party controls congress (50/50 shot just by guessing)

81.8% could NOT correctly say Joe Biden quit a previous campaign because of plagiarism (25% chance by guessing)

82.6% could NOT correctly say that Barack Obama won his first election by getting opponents kicked off the ballot (25% chance by guessing)

88.4% could NOT correctly say that Obama said his policies would likely bankrupt the coal industry and make energy rates skyrocket (25% chance by guessing)

56.1% could NOT correctly say Obama started his political career at the home of two former members of the Weather Underground (25% chance by guessing).

    And yet.....

Only 13.7% failed to identify Sarah Palin as the person on which their party spent $150,000 in clothes

Only 6.2% failed to identify Palin as the one with a pregnant teenage daughter

And 86.9 % thought that Palin said that she could see Russia from her "house," even though that was Tina Fey who said that!!

Only 2.4% got at least 11 correct.

Only .5% got all of them correct. (And we "gave" one answer that was technically not Palin, but actually Tina Fey)

    Zogby Statement on Ziegler poll

    Released: November 18, 2008

Zogby Poll: Almost No Obama Voters Ace Election Test

Survey finds most Obama voters remembered negative coverage of McCain/Palin statements but struggled to correctly answer questions about coverage associated with Obama/Biden

UTICA, New York -- Just 2% of voters who supported Barack Obama on Election Day obtained perfect or near-perfect scores on a post election test which gauged their knowledge of statements and scandals associated with the presidential tickets during the campaign, a new Zogby International telephone poll shows.

    Zogby Statement on Ziegler poll

Only 54% of Obama voters were able to answer at least half or more of the questions correctly.

The 12-question, multiple-choice survey found questions regarding statements linked to Republican presidential candidate John McCain and his vice-presidential running-mate Sarah Palin were far more likely to be answered correctly by Obama voters than questions about statements associated with Obama and Vice-President–Elect Joe Biden. The telephone survey of 512 Obama voters nationwide was conducted Nov. 13-15, 2008, and carries a margin of error of +/- 4.4 percentage points. The survey was commissioned by John Ziegler, author of The Death of Free Speech, producer of the recently released film "Blocking the Path to 9/11" and producer of the upcoming documentary film, Media Malpractice...How Obama Got Elected.

"We stand by the results our survey work on behalf of John Ziegler, as we stand by all of our work. We reject the notion that this was a push poll because it very simply wasn't. It was a legitimate effort to test the knowledge of voters who cast ballots for Barack Obama in the Nov. 4 election. Push polls are a malicious effort to sway public opinion one way or the other, while message and knowledge testing is quite another effort of public opinion research that is legitimate inquiry and has value in the public square. In this case, the respondents were given a full range of responses and were not pressured or influenced to respond in one way or another. This poll was not designed to hurt anyone, which is obvious as it was conducted after the election. The client is free to draw his own conclusions about the research, as are bloggers and other members of society. But Zogby International is a neutral party in this matter. We were hired to test public opinion on a particular subject and with no ax to grind, that's exactly what we did. We don't have to agree or disagree with the questions, we simply ask them and provide the client with a fair and accurate set of data reflecting public opinion." - John Zogby

"After I interviewed Obama voters on Election Day for my documentary, I had a pretty low opinion of what most of them had picked up from the media coverage of the campaign, but this poll really proves beyond any doubt the stunning level of malpractice on the part of the media in not educating the Obama portion of the voting populace," said Ziegler.

Ninety-four percent of Obama voters correctly identified Palin as the candidate with a pregnant teenage daughter, 86% correctly identified Palin as the candidate associated with a $150,000 wardrobe purchased by her political party, and 81% chose McCain as the candidate who was unable to identify the number of houses he owned. When asked which candidate said they could "see Russia from their house," 87% chose Palin, although the quote actually is attributed to Saturday Night Live's Tina Fey during her portrayal of Palin during the campaign. An answer of "none" or "Palin" was counted as a correct answer on the test, given that the statement was associated with a characterization of Palin.

Obama voters did not fare nearly as well overall when asked to answer questions about statements or stories associated with Obama or Biden -- 83% failed to correctly answer that Obama had won his first election by getting all of his opponents removed from the ballot, and 88% did not correctly associate Obama with his statement that his energy policies would likely bankrupt the coal industry. Most (56%) were also not able to correctly answer that Obama started his political career at the home of two former members of the Weather Underground.

Nearly three quarters (72%) of Obama voters did not correctly identify Biden as the candidate who had to quit a previous campaign for President because he was found to have plagiarized a speech, and nearly half (47%) did not know that Biden was the one who predicted Obama would be tested by a generated international crisis during his first six months as President.

In addition to questions regarding statements and scandals associated with the campaigns, the 12-question, multiple-choice survey also included a question asking which political party controlled both houses of Congress leading up to the election -- 57% of Obama voters were unable to correctly answer that Democrats controlled both the House and the Senate.

    This just in!!

100% of Joeslogic refuses to post anything bad about Senator John McCains antics/policys/tactics. ;)

I'm not sure if anyone bothered (doing a similar poll on McCain voters), but if they did, it would come out equally as bad. That and selective polling really doesn't prove anything. I mean I was not polled on any of this, nor was anyone I know, or any one they know. Were you?? The fact of the matter is 80% of all Americans, regardless of whom they voted for didn't bother to do any homework on who to vote for, they just voted for the party they voted for the last however many times. And depending on which news channel you watch, it is saturated with all the bad tidbits that one side may or may not have done. Try watching BBC news.

    Here, I polled 4 rednecks.

75% of McCain supporters only support him because he's not black. (Barry didn't know that Obama was black;))

25% of McCain supporters didn't vote as they thought he had died of old age 12 years ago.

    So you say.

Look here is your red meat.

McCain is a moron. I never wanted him to make the nomination in the first place. While I had my problems with Fred Thompson and always have because of his Watergate involvement I believe a Thompson Romney or Romney Thompson ticket would have been a huge winner.

McCain was a pansy ass RHINO in all reality and he did not deserve to be in the same class as Palin.

And since I know for a fact that McCain although a better choice by far for the country than Obama in the short run. Would have however been as much or more of a socialist on so very many issues. I am relieved that the Dems sewed it up. I look forward to blaming all their failures squarely on them. I mean sure the MSM, Democrat apologists, and the revisionist historians will try in vain to protect their socialist project in and "Iron Curtain" cloak of propaganda protection. In the end theirs will be an impossible job because while a lot of Americans are truly dumbed down and stupefied by the school system and the media. They will see it for themselves with their own eyes. Because you see most are not stupid just ignorant. Ignorance just goes skin deep and can be fixed stupid however is rotten to the bone.

Just let me know when you need more education.

I am at your service. :)

You don't even know who I voted for! You assume you know too much about me. And my point was all about the poll, not about anything else. Never trust a poll, they are most certainly not as accurate as the person(s) conducting the poll would like you to believe.

Sorry not trying to make any assumptions I just wanted to rake McCain overthe coals for you in the name of fairness.

McCain is the stupid ass Republican RINO that actually sponsored his demise with McCain Feingold. Restricting Republicans from receiving money. Basically all that stupid bill did is restrict where Republicans get their money and therefor free speech. Obama out spent him some crazy amount like 4 to 1. This is not only true for Obama it is true across the board. Big money greedy Democrats out spending Republicans who are just out their trying to help the regular Joe.

So its actually good that McCain lost servs his smug dumb ass right. Personally I think McCain is a narcissist. He is easy to manipulate by the very media that constantly stabs him in the back. I can just imagine what is in McCain's head.

**The media hates republicans but look how they like me! I screwed my own party and that makes me look wise and powerful! The people like me I know they do. I amaze them and they are dazzled by my brilliance. **

    * visions of a new presidential car like the Pope with McCain waving to his admirers a crowd of millions who came just to get a glimpse of his greatness*

It's in my humble opinion that both parties need to work together if anything in this country is going to change for the better, we are all human beings and should treat each other as such (and not just in american politics people), but as for this topic...nothing is going to change when lefties lean to far left and righties lean to far right.

Dude McCain is as far left a representative of the Republicans as you will find not that the other RINO from the NE actually defected to the Democrats. I'm talking about Sen. Jefferies or whatever his name was from NH.

On the other hand Obama actually had the MOST liberal record in the senate. He is the radical from the left.

The Repubs proposed a left of center nominee and screwed themselves over. Would you call my suggestion of Thompson and Romney as radical right winger?

The democrats could've thrown anybody center stage and had them elected. Honestly.

Put Meatwad from Aqua Teen up on a ballot, and he'd have been elected.

    They knew this.

Look at the demographics of whom elected our new president. It goes above and beyond the uneducated voters of the past. I've never seen sheep congregate in as uniform a fashion as voters in this election.

This is why the most extreme candidate on the Liberal side was placed on the ballot. It's an extra, added guarantee that anything that is proposed will be passed with no line item vetoes. If Barney Frank wants mandatory phallic-shaped hedges in the front lawn of every American, he'll get it. If Bill Clittin' wants to line his wallet and powder his nose at the same time, he'll get it.

Nevermind the SERIOUS repercussions of this new puppet figurehead in office. Punish the successful, and watch as jobs are outsourced. Increase taxes on the employers, and watch as less jobs are created. Create a society where the average Joe can only survive by suckling on the nipple of government - and you've laid the framework for complete governmental control.

When it comes down to it, you honestly can't expect much positive "change" from a president whose voting record in the past was not "yay" or "nay" - but, predominantly "PRESENT" (when he actually "voted," that is.)

On a side-note, Henry Bonilla, a corrupt former representative from our state, once punched an interviewer in the mouth for calling him a Communist. The truth hurts sometimes.

I think Saturday Night Live is to blame for the outcome of the election
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgkTP0st6xE

I think Joeslogic will agree, SNL should be censored and all of the cast should be sent to Gitmo. Fuckers.

Lomotil, let's go to NYC and shoot the place up. What do you say?

I think I liked you better when you collected media and ran a website... :p

It's funny, though. Al Franken used to be one of the original writers for SNL. Wonder if he had any creative input for that sketch?

    BINGO!

That is most of it and also McCain was not popular with a great deal of the Republican base.

Don't think so? Consider the Georgia Senate runoff. Where Repubs who stayed home for the general election got out the vote for .....whats his name.
