I was under the impression that with a membership there wouldn't be anymore pop-ups.

I spoke to them again today. Apparently, the popups are IN the banner ads so there's no way we can get rid of them without removing the banners too. So to solve this, we are going to remove ALL ads in the Members section.

Instead of restricting certain parts of the site to Members, we're going to copy the entire site over into http://www.fugly.com/members/ or members.fugly.com, One of the two.

There will be NO ADS at all in the Members section. Sorry for the delay. We're working on this as fast as we can.

We haven't gotten any feedback about email. We want to give members their own @fugly.com email address. If anyone has any idea how to set this up, please let us know. Otherwise we're going to buy one of these off-the-shelf programs that will allow us to provide this service.

Wow! I'm not the only one. There was another thread about this very thing a few days back.

Here was the reply on April 19th (I think it was the 19th, I'm not positive)

    I'm still getting them too.

if you are using a pop server you can get a freeware prog that sits between your pop server and your e-mail client and forwards the mail to it's intended recipient.... i used to use it when i had a family e-mail address and wanted mail to go to individuals rather than all in a lump....
    think it's called v-pop....

sorry i can't go into too much detail... i'm on limited time
