truth be told he mentions this flick in the commentary for dogma.. so he's been planning it for a while... I'm pretty sure the reason I'LL go see it is because it's apperant J'lo dies in the fist few minutes of the movie.

well figure, "Clerks" was by far the best, hands down. i liked "Chasing Amy" when it came out- i saw it re-run on tv and wondered what the hell was i thinking; and couldnt bear to listen to that squeaky voiced Joey chick. "Dogma", a waste of a brilliant cast. "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" was a full fledged piece of shit. aside from a handful of funny lines here and there, Kevin Smith's movies have steadily declined. So now, he's had to appeal to middle America to redeem himself and make a little moolah. It's a shame really. I like Kevin, I think he's brilliant, i think when he hit the bigtime the quality went down and it probably was due to the execs. i will see "Jersey Girl", and i will make myself like it, just for Kevin.

This movie has the earmarking's of utter crap! Kevin Smith has reached an all time low. No doubt that this movie will be touted as "the feel good movie of the year" Hopefully this will be his last movie he will cash out and retire as a filmaking visionary instead of a hollywood whore.
