I've always been adamant about using real butter instead of margarine, for the simple fact that our bodies have evolved throughout many generations with the enzymes necessary to break down the fat in real butter. This margarine shit (and the whole melee that followed with the margarine craze), I've always avoided - simply put, our bodies have evolved to process certain foods that we habitually consume. When you throw a new item into our diets, we don't have the capacity to metabolize it.

Stick to the tried-and-true essentials, people. Eat meat, eggs, butter, and everything your body is telling you to consume - because it's doing so for a reason. Just remember to eat everything in moderation.

I eat whatever I want. I live on carbs and will probably give myself diabetes but I hate vegetables. I renamed myself a carbatarian today. I hate vegetarian because I eat so few vegetables. I only like them when they are prepared so that they actually taste good. Like green beans... drench them in butter, salt and garlic and they are delicious.

Bacon fat makes green beans good. :p

But since that is supposed to be bad for you I tried 1 chicken bullion cube per can. Which mostly adds salt but is a decent alternative. One thing for sure plain green beans suck.

I think there is a lot of barking up the wrong tree going on here. I think they should look at historic trends in infant mortality rates. For instance in nature natural selection tends to cull out the weak. We save the weak and then when they cannot breed assist them in that respect also. You see it is reverse natural selection.

The videos provided were very telling. Basically what my gut feeling was telling me all along. That is don’t trust the scientific opinion. Everything since oh say the 60’s is tainted. The politicians hold the money and let the scientific community know what information they want to hear. The message is loud and clear to the scientist.

Joe - I'd click on your links, but I'm about to go and have my third glass of *non-light* eggnog, and retire for the evening. If tomorrow weren't Sunday, I'd go and buy some real 'nog' to mix with it.

You're on the right track with the natural selection bit, too... But it's a diatribe on my end for another evening, I'm afraid.
