Just checked out the X Entertainment forum. I've been going to that site off and on since last summer and decided to finally check out the forum today.

    I'm afraid to post.

    First thread first post:

'Now, pay close attention, these be the rules:

    1) Rule #1 is that all rules MUST be followed. Currently, I'm keeping both forums open. This forum is going to be plugged from the main site, and is likely the one to get the flux of new members. VBulletin wasn't free, and I didn't buy it just so we could have two of the same forums. IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW THE RULES, YOU'LL BE BANNED FROM BOTH FORUMS, FOREVER, NO EXCEPTIONS.

What this means for newbies: if you're signing up to act like a dick, you'll be out the door faster than it took you to register your account.

What this means for oldbies: don't take for granted that you still have a free-for-all forum and act like a dick here. You'll be banned from both. I've been lenient with the posting rules in spite of the site for a long time, so just play fair and everyone will be lollipop happy.

    2) No outright flaming, no amazingly disrespectful, racist, sexist, or generally hateful posts.

    3) No gimmick/troll posting. You can have fun, just don't do something that disrupts the overall flow of the board. An example of this would be turning a good thread into shit by posting something completely off-topic just to get a rise out of the users. If you're caught doing that, even once, you're banned immediately.

    3) You can use pretty much any language you want. Whether it be French, or just includes a lot of curse words. But use your judgement here, if you're being ridiculous in what you say, I'll be ridiculous in looking at your IP address and further the ridiculousness by banning it.

    4) Do not post gore or porn pics. Do not post ANYTHING that would get the people using the forum from work or school in trouble.

    5) Keep your signatures small. Even if you think posting fifteen pictures of reindeer in your sig is cute, the novelty will wear off on everyone else real quick. You don't need a giant sig to stand out. Posting worthwhile stuff will do that for you.

    6) If you make stupid threads, they'll probably be deleted. Now, stupid is relative. What I mean: don't start a thread unless it's about something people will appreciate and can respond to. I don't care what it's about so long as you're not posting it just to be annoying or obtrusive.

    7) Don't post ten threads that basically say nothing. If you've got a lot to say, chances are good that you can say it all in one thread. Don't overpost.

    8) If you run into a problem with the forum, whether if it's with a person or the software itself, I'd prefer it if you'd e-mail me rather than start a thread about it. General forum help questions can be posted in the FAQ forum.

    9) No outright site whoring. If you've got a site, cool, put it in your sig. But everyone gets annoyed real fast when people sign up just to promote their shitty Jodo Kast tribute pages.

    10) If you equate using a free forum where you're typically anonymous as a way to feel big and strong by saying asinine things you never would offline, you probably should look into another forum. Remember, you're here to have fun, not to prove how big your genitals are. That goes for you ladies too. You're not even *supposed* to have big genitals.

And that's about it. If you disagree with these rules, don't post, and delete your account. If you think they're unfair, blame the bossanova my wittle butterfly child babycake.

Have fun, and enjoy your stay!

Feel free to peruse the other specfic-topic forums, post in 'em, go nuts, rinse, repeat, eat candy. That is all.'
