How would I go about hooking up a vcr to a computer? Or would it be easier to hook a tower up to a television?
I'm trying to set up a vcr, computer thing. Got a bunch of old tapes and shit. I don't need to record them onto the computer or anything, just get them to work on the same screen. I was just wondering if it'd be easier to hook the computer tower up to the tv or hook the vcr up to the monitor. I was looking for something as user-friendly as possible, I got a lot of family that'd be using the set up and they're not very intuitive.
My Radeon AIW video card will do it but you don't want to go that route. Its certianly not user friendly. I'd do like Grim suggested and look for one of those Dazzle media usb capture devices on froogle. Or something to that extent. try froogling this. " dazzle usb video vcr "
