Alien origins(or alien visitation/surveilance) its too coincidental to be anything else. They are out there and have been for a very long time and I hope they had some role in our creation. These are the true gods most likely.

Ezekiel can be a fascinating book. Have you herd of Joel Rosenberg who wrote an interesting book called "The Ezekiel Option"?

Smiles you should red it though. Mars is mentioned as far to hot. They believe this new planet to be much closer to us then Mars. Honestly though I put little stake in scientific capability to measure mass and temperature etc. Of a planet they assume is 20 light years away. But it is interesting none the less.
