    The operator is a member of the government employees union. Who by the way has come to the operator’s defense stating that she was just doing her job?

    Not that I ever did care much for unions. But I have a serious problem with government jobs being unionized. I also have issues with the root of the problem here I suspect to be frivolous use off the 911 system. I think people being caught either 1. Prank calling the system or 2.calling 911 for B.S. reasons like “I locked my keys in the car”. “My dog Sparky got out, is running around the neighborhood and I cannot find him!” should be dealt with severely. How severe you may ask. Answer: Till there is not longer a problem.
