I often wondered how Schmed got around the language barrier in those delicate, initial 'courting' stages of his relationships.
That'll teach her to ride a bike in a skirt! Maybe he was showing her is Paedong2 missile? Of course it failed less than a minute after liftoff so that is probably why she looked so pissed.
I've seen that video before. Good work though Nursey, I didn't think of tying it into Schmed's obsession.
I thought he pissed on her at first but that glop that falls off her shoulder at the end intimates a jizz-lobbing. That must have been difficult to get the timing right. "A" for target aquisition and delivery. Could we caption that "Come on Ei Ling?"
Schmed knew it was off of that kickass second album, but I spilt the beans when someone asked about it. Being familiar with Mr Bungle is it's own reward.
I have Disco Volante and the self-titled CD, which is may fave. "Squeeze Me Macaroni" and "Stub-a-Dub" are great. I haven't heard much Fantomas, though.
You gotta get Mr Bungle's last cd, California man. It's spectacular. Fantomas is fun. As long as we're talking Patton bands; there's Tomahawk, Peeping Tom and Lovage-Nathaniel Merriweather's Music to Make Love To Your Old Lady By (I also heard he was in some band about Faith or something)
Yeah, I was scanning Amazon recently for Patton bands as such as you mentioned. I saw California was released in 1999 but I hadn't heard of it before. Not exactly mainstream. I listened to a few clips of Tomahawk and Fantomas but didn't know about Peeping Tom. I have all of the FNM CDs to include "We Care a Lot" pre-Patton, Chuck Moseley disc. Some of Slipknot's stuff reminds me of FNM/Bungle. Of course much of it seems to stem from old Zappa.
I'm currently listening to Slipknot Vol. 3 with the dubbed vocals of my nephew screaming because he's teething. Pretty awesome, except for the whole screaming baby thing.
Mix those teething screams with "515" off the Iowa CD and you got a great way to start the show. "Subliminal" is their best work to me, with the self-titled a close second. Most of Iowa, though, didn't blow my skirt up. Great live band, too.
I liked the first album better, but then again I'm more into metal then most people. Subliminal is pretty good, Pulse of the Maggots and Vermillion 1 & 2 stand out as particularly good for me. Do you listen to any Stone Sour or Murderdolls?
I have Stonesour. "Get Inside" is my fave and "Orchids" is good, too. Heard of Murderdolls but not familiar with their sound. Stonesour is on the currect "Family Values" tour w/Korn. I may try to go, though the last Korn show I saw was kind of lame. Maybe it was the venue but I've seen them 3 times and that one was lackluster.
I don't think they've adjusted to Head leaving the band. Give'em a year or two and they'll be rocking arena's like they used to.
