I do not agree with Lee Bollinger tirade against President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. To invite a man to your University only to attack him and call him an idiot in simple terms for his beliefs and thoughts is outrageous. I in no way believe some of the things Ahmadinejad says or believes, such as the Holocaust but he is entitled to believe it.

That is what America was founded on anyway the freedom of thought, speech, and religion. With that said we really do not practice this anymore. If you do not believe like the majority or are told to believe by our Government you are considered a trouble maker. It was true in the 60's & it's reiterated into days social & war climate.

We have no respect for any other Government in the world or other country's belief structure. We have proved this time and time again since the Korean war. From the Korean to the Cold War and every were in between we have tried to force our belief system and government structure down the worlds throat, and it's not right.

With the Soviet Union we told the world Communism was bad. We used it as a tool to destroy good Free thinking Americans lives with Mcarthurs witch hunt.
It didn't matter if they were Communist or not, to be branded was enough to destroy most of them. This was in the United States were we are suppose to be able to think how we want because We are FREE. Remember because isn't that what we are told they hate us for?

We are suppose to have Freedom of Religion....But we roll into Waco and trample those right because a group thought different then the majority. Brand them a cult and it's OK to trample their rights. Is these the action of a free thinking country? That guarantee these freedoms?

Ahmadinejad seems to be a well spoken well educated man who is in power of one of the most westernized countries in the Middle East despite the propaganda. I wouldn't be happy either if the United States was basically sitting in my back yard with a can of gas and a match. Despite all these things. Everything our Country is suppose to be founded on should be respected by respecting a world leader even if we do not agree with his beliefs. He should not have been treated like he was. He did not come in acting like a lunatic and he has been nothing but respectful since entering our country. We have been less then hospitable to him. How do you expect to change someones mind about you when you reinforce his impression of you?

Today I was again ashamed to be an American. Not that it matters but I once again apologize to the world for our Government & others actions. Not all of us believe as we are told & some of us still believe in true freedom.

So him saying the Holocaust never happened, and that there are no homosexuals in Iran (since it's just an american thing) is true? Well spoken or not, he is just as much a nut job as the guy showing tom and jerry cartoons and teaching a class on the 'jews'.

President Bush saying Iraq was involved with 9/11 & Homosexual able to marry is wrong because a man can't love a man is less crazy?

    Get my point now?

They are politicians, they are all crazy. Bush is just going along with the voters. Bible thumpers vote. Iraq is its own special little deal. Kinda like Patton in WWII, had he had his way we would have been in Russia then, all the soldiers are already there, just keep going west.

Well the bottom line as far as the end of WW2 goes. We shouldn't have allowed the brits to draw the maps and we wouldn't be having the problems in the middle east we're having now.

We should have embraced the Soviet Unions as we do China today and the world would be a lot stabler for it in the long run.

China would not have the power they have today. Little piss ant country's like North Korea wouldn't be flexing against the USA or Soviets as Allies.

Also like I have always said if we had given the jews Utah or an Island they would be 100% better off.

When it boils down to brass tax in the Middle East it's Jews & Oil.
