    Arkansas beat Auburn

    Tennessee clobbers Georgia

Duke beats Alabama in every way but points.

Which generates a couple of questions -

    1. Can we now stop crying about Auburn being "locked out again" of the National Tiltle game?

    2. Can anyone be luckier to have a job than Houston Nutt?

    3. Why does Phil Fulmer look like a pig?

    4. How long will it take the Alabama Nation to accept the fact that the best season it will ever have under Shula happened last year?

How could you miss the Texas Oklahoma game?

I went to the State Fair that day it was a mistake cause of all the poor ole distraught Sooner trying to hold their chin up and enjoy a few rides and junk food before making that drive back. While being verbally punished by a bunch of drunken Longhorn fans. What blew my mind was there were almost as many red shirts as burnt orange.

I guess the BCS breathed a sigh of relief now that Auburn has been eliminated from the race. I thought my team would lose one but I hate that it was to the Hogs. Nutt is a 'mo and his freek/geek punter gives me the willies. Now that our season is bust, we may need to throw the Iron Bowl just so Shula can get another contract extension. We want him to stay. Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!

All I got to say is,

    FIRE MARK RICHT!!!!

I mean who the hell runs the ball the whole first half, 24-7 UGA, then comes out throwing deep in your own territory to start the 2nd half? That INT got them right back in the game. Then with Matt Stafford, QB Prodigy, warming up on the sideline, we run a kickoff back and then go back with Joe T.

Games like that sober you up real quick. Plus it was a long quiet ride back, when everyone else is sleeping.

Oh well, we are in a 'rebuilding' year anyway.... whatever the hell that is......

You guys should just end the pain by denouncing your teams and pledging your fan allegiance to Texas Longhorns and then enjoy the ride.

Oh and I guess you could say the Longhorns are in a rebuild year also if you think about it.

Don't care about the Longhorns but, how about those New Orleans Saints? I got one foot on that bandwagon now. We'll see if I can hang on into the postseason. Or will N.O. implode in the second half of the season as they often do?

I'm not an Ole Miss fanboy but Deuce is the man since they brought in Reggie Bush. He's running for his life (and his job) now.

He'll be gone next year. No reason to keep him. Of course if they have the cap room, why not? All they needed the last couple of years was a decent QB, they finally got one in Brees, and Rivers hasnt impressed me at all in SD.

I thought Rivers looked pretty solid for a 1st year man in last night's win over the Steelers.

Auburn has 5 by the same counts that give Bama 12.

  WHAT???? You mean their is some question about the legitimacy of ALABAMA'S mystique? You mean you don't believe that Alabama was the best team in the country in '73, back when the bowl didn't count?

OK, I tell you what - I'll give you 2005 if you give us 1966.

Since nobody beat them in 2005, it would be hard to prove they were not the best team in the country, so they can have that one.

Of course this theory goes out the window if you saw the USC -Texas game. I think either of those teams could have held their own with a lower level pro team, and would have beaten Auburn handily.

I personally wish that Tubb would win a National Championship at Auburn, and then leave for greener pastures. It would serve the trustees right for the way they treated him. I don't really like Tubb, but it is pretty obvious that he is a good coach.

If he gets the thumb at T town this year, he may get a job offer from Tuscaloosa. I can just see the look on Lowders face.
