I decided this was more a film school thread than a Cold Sober thread so here it is:

Ok I'm sure it was worth some serious controversy. Now that they got peoples attention what are they gonna do with it. How will the cards be stacked for the contest? I probably will not watch an episode of it unless it just happens one day that I turn on the tube bored to death and happen upon it. But it is pretty interesting that they went this route. How they are going to handle it.

    From realitytvworld.com

No Ferine I hate all the reality tv crap. My tolerance level for commercials is really low. Anything I do watch I generally record so I can use the fast forward.

I'm in the discussion for the controversial subject matter. I can hardly believe they did this and would not be surprised if they do an about face and back off this and scramble the teams after the first few episodes.

Never one to dodge controversy here is what Neal Boortz had to say:

Sorry, your fiance is very lovely. I wouldn't "do" her per se. I would caringly and gently be amorous towards her for all of her days. In short, I would love her long time.

You know if the networks go through with this there bound to be hoping on some sort of cross the taboo boundaries of team play encounter that they can dramatically catch on film.

Oh how racy! Tongs will be wagging people will be watching. Probably setup to happen anyways before it all starts in the first place.

G.M. Drops ‘Survivor’ but Says Racial Format Isn’t the Reason

General Motors, which accounts for roughly one-fifth of the advertising on ”Survivor,„ said its decision was unrelated to the show’s race-based format.

    Sure. I believe them.
