and I have two new cavities. I already had one that needed filled but I put it off so now I have to have 3 filled. That will make 5 total. I didn't have a cavity until I was 28 and now I feel like my grill is rotting the hell out.

I am terrified of getting them filled and I am definitely not using the mercury fillings because I think I got mercury poisoning the last time.

I hate going to the dentist. This dentist is an asshole anyway. He has no personality and he reeked of onions and garlic. I think people in the medical field that are in your face should refrain from eating that junk while working. It's rude and offensive.

Does anyone else hate the dentist?

I go to the eye doctor tomorrow. That doesn't bother me. I think it's neat and always kinda wanted to be an eye doctor if I were a different person.

Did you have fluoride supplements as a child?

Do you brush your teeth regularly?

I'm just curious, as you and I are roughly the same age, and I've never been in that position before...

As far as fearing Hg poisoning, I wouldn't worry about it, unless you get in the way of someone's homemade revolver rounds.

Thinking about it, though, being a dentist must have it's terrible moments, honestly... I always thought the statistic that dentists have the highest suicide rates of any professional field was made up, but when you consider it... Going to school for that long to be able to place your nose 3 inches away from someone's rotting mouth and poor dental hygiene for 8 hours a day might actually get to a person after a while.

I don't know if I had fluoride supplements as a child. If I don't know, I guess not.

Do I brush my teeth regularly? That's insulting. Yes, I brush them once a week. ;) I remember this because it's when I change my undergarments.

Seriously, I brush them at least 2/3 times day. Some days more if I snack a lot. He told me that I got the cavities because I wasn't flossing the molars. I try to floss. It's one of those things I neglect a good bit and it's really hard to floss my back teeth. The hygentist even said that she kept shredding floss on my back teeth. They are really packed in there. I had to have my wisdom teeth cut out so they wouldn't crowd my teeth and undermine the torment of braces when I was a kid. Actually, I liked my braces. I got them when I was 10 and I thought that they made me look 13.

I started getting vertigo spells after I had my first fillings. Then Jefe posted something about it a while back and it got me thinking and when I researched the symptoms, I had a ton of them.

Mind control devices embedded in fillings? Do you pick up radio stations or CB transmissions at night?

Stop reading about other people's symptoms, too... Your mind starts to make them your own...

Have you tried those toothpicks with the floss on one end of 'em for your molars?

If that doesn't work, try guitar strings and gradually work your way up to the 6th string.

damn Nauseous... you have had a busy week. Dentist, therapist, haircut, eye doc. Doesn't it feel to get shit done all at one time?

I hate the dentist as well... I have had many types of Docs that had a personality and at least a small since of humor ... never a dentist. When I was younger I was much sillier then I am now and I had a dentist say " ok you are going to feel a little prick in your cheek." I could not resist and said " well if you are going to do that- I should get a discount" --- he left the room and had his assistant ask me to leave. WTF, no since of humor

So I walked out, and did not pay- I had a cleaning and X rays done- and he was going to fill a cavity.

Yeah, it's nice to get this crap over with. I dread getting my cavities filled, but I'm excited about my new glasses. Although I don't wear glasses much, new ones are always exciting. I just wish my eye drs office made the glasses there and I didn't have to wait a week.

I am going to repeat that dentist story to a few people tomorrow that I know will get a kick out of it. I swear your life is like a hidden camera tv show. You are the original Chelsea Handler.

My hair feels really short. I think it's the shortest it's ever been. It looks a lot like this.

I tossed the idea of this hair around for a while and decided to just lop it off and do it. There was a ton of hair on the floor at the salon. That's always kinda sad to see. I dunno, it's like some of my femininity is taken away, but I feel like women in their 30's should have hair that matches their age. I'm not into that long skanky extension look. But MAN, it feels weird to have hair barely reach my collarbone.

that is a cute cut... I wish I could do bangs. Im 2 fat to pull it off now.

For some reason I really want curly hair, or wavy. My hair is so straight and boring- like a horse tail. I am just scared to have a perm done on top of years of color... I just know it would fry. If I roll it or use a curling iron - it is flat in one hour.

My hair is like that too. It's straight as hell which is why I always get layers so when I curl it, it holds better and looks better. I think my hair looks like crap unless I curl it.

I wanted a perm but was afraid too. Maybe you should get a body wave?

And what the hell is a body wave?

Are we still talking about scalp hair?

I might one day- I never make plans ... just one day I will walk into a place and say DO IT. I guess I do everything on an impulse.

Maybe I should buy a crimping iron- do you remember that hair style- gross. Maybe I should just pull it back into a banana clip...and wear a head band- that would look real nice.
I want shorter hair... but I have a permanent buffalo hump (from Cushing's) so I have to keep it long...to cover it up. People say it is not noticeable and that I am crazy... but I feel it is huge.

I want one of those heated things that is the opposite of a curling iron... It has two heated flat sections about 4" x 1" and flattens hair.

Not for my hair, though. Just as a quick alternative to ironing stubborn shirt collars and that part of the button area that always fucking folds up in the dryer. No need to fire up the iron for one lousy collar...
