I bought some Sam Adams "Pale Ale" and I now suspect is not really an ale but actually a lager beer.

Ales are top fermented using an ale yeast and have a taste that is described as "hearty" and "robust". Lager's are bottom fermented at cooler temperatures and have a very different taste. Usually they are described as "smooth", or "crisp and clean".

I'm not a big fan of lager beers. To me they taste kind of weak and watered down.

Has anyone else tried this stuff? What do you think?
