Iraq's Saddam: 'America reaps thorns sown by its rulers'
    Wed Sep 12 2001 16:00:04 ET

Baghdad - Iraq's President Saddam Hussein said Wednesday that the terror attacks in the United States were ``the result of the thorns sown by its leaders in the world''.

``Notwithstanding the conflicting human feelings about what happened in America yesterday, America is reaping the thorns sown by its rulers in the world,'' Saddam said in statements distributed by the official Iraqi News Agency.

``Those thorns have not only bloodied the feet and the hearts of many, but also the eyes of people shedding tears on their dead whose souls have been reaped by America,'' he went on.

``There is no place that does not have a symbolic monument that shows America's criminal acts against these victims, whether in Japan that was the first to be seared by the nuclear destruction weapons boasted by America, or Vietnam, Iraq, the nuclear Russian submarine or the criminal acts the US is now perpetrating by supporting the criminal racist Zionism against our heroic Palestinian people -women, men, young men, old men and children''.

In the statements, which the agency said Saddam made while receiving Deputy Prime Minister and Military Production Minister Abdul Tawab al-Malla Haweish, the Iraqi leader said the question now was whether the United States ``would deliver itself and the world from the evils and terrorist crimes of its rulers against the world, or whether those rulers who have become a dummy in the hands of international Zionism ... will divert the feelings of the Americans into new terrorist designs against the world that satiate the Jewish Zionist greed for evil money and innocent blood?''

He said that ``the American peoples should remember that no one throughout history had crossed the Atlantic carrying arms against them, but it was they who crossed over carrying with them death, destruction and terrible exploitation to the whole world.''

He added: ``those who do not want to reap evil should not sow evil, and those who consider the lives of their people dear and precious must also remember that the souls of people elsewhere in the world are dear and precious to their kin.''

Saddam said America was ``exporting evil not only wherever its armies but also where its motion pictures go. If the American people remember all this, they will salvage their security and the security of the world from their rulers. On the other hand, if what happened in the US was an internal matter (the work of American nationals) then the house dwellers know best where their malady resides''.

Extract from John Howard's (Australian PM) speech on the subject.

"We will stand by them, we will help them, we will support actions they take to properly retaliate in relation to these acts of bastardry against their citizens and against what they stand for"

I was just thinking... I wonder how many countries there are who's Military Forces are still on HIGH ALERT? Apparently Briton still is!

At this moment, around the world, there are men in secure rooms with a key hanging from a chain around their necks.

I wonder what they are thinking?

Well, considering that "Briton" has that wretched lot known as Scots hunkered on the ass-end of your island, and your nearest neighbors are, to the west, the Irish ("One Nation, Under Alcohol") and to the east, the French (nuff said)....sorry to inform you, but you have little hope anyway.

What, loss of empire still chafing? Envious that the U.S. is about to execute an object lesson before the world that it's paternal country couldn't/wouldn't dare anymore?

Or is it just a simple case of edginess from Nursey having cut you off over some transgression?

Canada's a fine country - or couple of countries, depending on who you ask - and at least they speak English (most of 'em, anyway). They've never fought us like the Scots, they bath regularly and don't sneer at us for no damn good reason like the French, and they don't export annoying and absurd cultural detritus like drinking chanties and 'River Dance' bullshit.

    And Mexico, they...

Hmmm............................................................................................................................................................................They grow passably decent weed....and have plenty of cheap whorehouses...

    Thanks!

Nope, I didn't just forget to add a space anywhere - that was my patented Scrollbar Bombâ„¢ code. Just think of the havoc I could wreak on the forum if I reposted it to every other thread?
