    That's a shame. He was only 59.

"Home Alone," "The Breakfast Club," "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," "Sixteen Candles," "The Breakfast Club," "Home Alone," "National Lampoon's Vacation," "Pretty in Pink," "Planes, Trains & Automobiles," "Uncle Buck."

Pretty impressive resume. I can sort of see that sense of humor or perspective on life on all those movies sort of following a trend. Good comedy with no real gimmicks that the whole family can watch.

Aside from the Home Alone movies, I'll admit to seeing (and owning, actually,) the Lampoon's Vacation flick, Uncle Buck, and Planes, Trains........ Great movies, especially the Planes... one.

Best damn Thanksgiving movie ever made.

I have seen all those movies and must admit I liked most of them. I was disappointed the first time I had saturday school and the freaking teacher wouldnt leave the room. It was booshit. Sixteen Candles has to be one of my favorite 'brat pack' movies even though I guess the whole pack wasnt in it.

    "Grampa has a hyena"

I never skipped school and went to a Cubs game, I did skip school and burn a doobie or two. :)
