Yeah the snow is beautiful, and you hyped this game over two years at e3 and CES, too bad it plays like a pausey patient playing ping-pong. It's impossible to play this game without cheating, it's just too hard. secondly, the weapons (except for the mechs) are boring and useless. the rifle does as much damage as the machinegun, and the rifle dosen't have a scope. So rent it, if you really want to see a shitty version of capcom doing a FPS. I give it a 4 out of 10. Oh and the online play is just as bad. If you want a good FPS, stick with rainbow 6 vegas or Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2. cheat codes: Use a VS during ending credits During the ending credits, before the words TEST PLAYER comes on screen, press and hold the following buttons to control Wayne's LP-9999 VS Left trigger, Left bumper, Right Trigger, Right Bumper, X, Y, B Use Wayne's final VS during the credits Control Camera Angle in Cut Scenes(useless code) During a cut scene is played, ENTER the following code to control the camera angle in the cut scene B,A,X,Y,B,A,X,Y, B,A,X,Y Control Camera Angle in Cut Scene Button Codes. Hey that one cheat code reminded me of the one for NES Ikari warriors, Up, down, up, down, left, right, left, right, A, B, B, A I think it gave you like infinite contiues. Or that may have been Contra......
That code worked on a bunch of Konami games (you can leave the second "B, A" out, and it still works)... It was funny if you used it on Gradius III (SNES) on the pause screen. Instead of giving you all your options/etc., it played a trick and blew your ship up. To get all the options, you had to use the L/R buttons in place of left and right. That, and holding left on the directional pad during the title screen and hitting A three times gave you 30 ships. Super C: right, left, down, up, A, B, start (10 lives) MK (Gen): A,B,A,C,A,B,B (blood code) Shit, it's amazing how we can remember these so long afterwards...
The bad thing is what I didnt remember about how crappy the graphics were on the NES. I got some ROMS and it is amazing how poor the graphics are....
I think this code worked on several games as "ABACAB" was a song by "Genesis." I think it was used as a level skip on "Aladdin" also.
:'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( I love that fucking game....fucking river raid. I didnt say I wasnt playing the shit out of them, just I had fonder memories of the graphics.
...and the gall to insult the NES graphics? ;D ;D Don't mind me, though... I'll gladly take gameplay over eye candy any day.
