    Hi Everyone!

I'm back from three weeks in Japan. It sucks to be home, by the way. You see, the Japanese have this stereotype that Americans have huge cocks and it makes for some good times after midnight at just about any bar.

So down to business. I have two tattoos. One is pretty cool, one really sucks. I'd like to get it covered over with another tattoo. I went to a place and asked about cover work and received the old, "Oh, yeah. We might have to do a little creative shading, but it should be no problem to put someting else over it."

Well, that's all fine and good, but I wanted to get the opinion of some people who won't tell me whatever the fuck I want to hear in order to get a bunch of money from me. Or at least, not just to get money out of me for a tattoo, but you get the idea.*

Anyway, if you don't mind, would a few of you please expound on the technicalities of tattoo cover up and fixing... You know, what's possible and what's not, that sort of thing. I'd particularly like to hear Dwaine's wisdom on this, if he wouldn't mind, but I'm pretty sure that several of you have something to say.

*Incidentally, Reiz, if you'd like to tell me whatever the fuck I'd like to hear, there's a green card, an electric blue Chevy Cavalier, lipstick money, and a nice house in the suburbs with your name on it...

    Love and kisses, all...

first off, to make an informed opinion, I need to see the tattoos. Just remember, you can cover anything with black (tribal, or celtic), just make sure they use Kami Suri Japaniese Kanji ink. Its the best black ink on the market. Colorwise ask if they use danny Fowler or Melinium inks. If they say they use spaulsing, politely leave the primisises.../

Thanks man. That's exactly the type of thing I wouldn't have known. There are a couple of well known places here in D-Town, but there's a big difference between the kind of place that can put a butterfly over some chick's ass and the kind of place that can actually do something creative, original, or technical, you know?

The place I stopped for a consultation seemed nice enough, but the problem was that the guys working there were all like 23. Now, I'm sure they're good at what they do, but there are two things that I don't want someone younger than me doing:

    1) Permanantly inscribing art on my body
    2) Flying a plane that I'm on

I'll drop by another place today and ask about inks. I got the location of a good place from a heavily tattooed "lady of questionable virtue" whom I was running my weak-ass game on last night. Of course, her primary body art happened to be a butterfly inked above her ass, but whatever. It's Sunday so it's not like I'm doing anything else.

Thanks again, man. I appreciate any advice that I can get, particularly from someone with your knowlege and experience.

I heard that if you turn a steam iron on high and press it on the tattoo for one minute the tatto will disappear. I don't know if it works, but since it is something you can do at home, sounds like it's worth a try.

There was a tatoo parlor in Eastern, KY that use to be notorious for giving people hepatitis C. Tattooed people kept showing up in the family practice clinic. Might be something you want to think about when you are making your decision of where to get them done.

Yeah, Danny, maybe in the 70's.

I've had a couple of my tats covered very easily. Any professional is

A.) Going to use clean needles and
B.) Going to be able to give you correct answers to any questions you are seeking.

    Oh yes. I'm SO back.

I met someone and in typical May/December fashion, I've kicked his ass to the curb.

Nice to see that most of you are all reasonably well and still around...It's quite comforting, actually...somewhat the same feeling I get when I think of dust: that 70% of it is actually sloughed human skin cells...a thought that's brought me through some very lonely times.

You do know that in my next life you will be my first choice for marriage.

The right guy will come along in this life for you. Don't accept an old has been. You deserve better.
