I'm looking to buy a server that doesnt cost too much, but is reliable. I'm not looking to buy anything with RAID, seeing as how the information I'm going to be storing isn't crucial or anything, so I don't really need it. Around 500 GB-1 TB of space. I don't really need one at the moment, but would be cool to have one now. Any help? Thanks.
What are you going to be using it for? If it's just going to be a file server Id hook up a PC and an External TB drive and let it rock. I would suggest a 16x (or 20x) Dual Layer DVD burner for backups, I know you say the data isnt that critical, but I always like having a backup plan.
