because people then have to live with the consequences of what they've typed, instead of editing out the offensive content and hoping everyone forgets and they can then re-ingratiate themselves.... and i do believe it was after pinky started the thread on sept 11th laughing about the WTC attack.. and then edited it afterwards when everyone (including fugly) came in and admonished him for it... my vote is for this forum to remain no-edit... who gives a fuck about a typo or two, or a fuck up with ubb code.. everyone makes mistakes..... some more forgivable than others
You could also register at a UBB forum that has a preview option and just test your shit there first. If it works there, just copy and paste it here. The other forum won't know cause you don't have to actually post it....just preview it.
