My Internet Explore has a little habit of changing the text size randomly. I set it to medium, and for no reason it changes to extra large or smallest on it's own. It does it all the time.

I have run virus scanners and Webroot spyscanner. No luck.

I do have a hard drive going bad. I have a new one coming next week, and I am going to break down and upgrade to Win XP. I can't imagine that the drive could be the problem, but I don't want to transfer anything to the new drive.

The problem started when I changed my service provider from Bellsouth DSL to Mediacom High Speed Cable. (Mediacom is the devil)

    It is driving me crazy.

Also, I can't get auto logon to work for Fugly anymore. I check the box that says "log on automatically" but it won't save my info.

Help please before I cure the problem with my hammer.

hold shift, and move the scroll wheel on your mouse up and down to resize in IE

then immediatly, goto www.mozilla.com and d/l firefox, never use IE again. I assume you are on Win98 and you are having upgrade woes... callme bunboy I'll explain it to you

In XP, CTRL with the scroll wheel adjusts size. SHIFT will go back and forth between pages.

These guys are all a bunch of dorks

[Tools]: [options]: Center left near the bottom [fonts]

Question is why, but you are not the only one I get nurses and admin people from some hospitals asking the same question. Seems specific to the institution in questions ie security settings and I have not drilled it completely down yet.

I think Dwaine has the right idea, get the file FireFox Setup 1.5.0.4 and install it. Win98 is a turd. IE is also a turd....

Not the new ones, just the old ones.

I have over 50 dell laptops(at work) and not one of them has exploded. Now the mouse has gone batty a few times, but thats just from people abusing the nipple in the middle of the keyboard....

I miss those... It's comforting to know that they still make those things... :)
