This was taken from the Augusta Chronicle, www.augustachronicle.com Aiken County authorities arrested a 56-year-old Graniteville man Sunday night and charged him with shooting his wife in the head. Robert Goodman is in jail on charges of criminal domestic violence, enhanced. Bond is scheduled to be set today. According to an Aiken County sheriff's report, the 43-year-old victim told police that her husband woke her about 4:30 p.m. at their home in the 220 block of Motlow Drive in Graniteville, and hit her in the head with rifle. As he did so, the gun went off. The report states that when an officer arrived at the residence, he saw "wounds to the back of the head consistent with an in-and-out gunshot wound." Police saw Mr. Goodman leaving the back of the mobile home. He ignored several commands to show his hands and get down on the ground, and officers used a taser to subdue him. Inside the trailer, officers found two shotguns, bloody sheets on the bed and a bullet hole in the bedroom wall, the report said.
I guess crack makes you tired in the middle of the afternoon. Maybe that's why he was mad. He hit her with the shot gun cause she wasnt cooking or doing laundry.
So he must have hit her with the barrel? 'Cause I was thinking he just shot the bitch and she was so stupid that she thought he hit her. Sounds like she was trying to defend him in a weird way.
