I think he was making reference to the cartoon in the paper, prince valiant, however I think the Dodge Dart/Plymouth Swinger might be spot on for the vehicle.

Yeah I knew about the hair cut. But I was pointing out the irony. You're right I believe that was a Swinger I could not remember the name not a big Mopar guy. It looked very simular to the Valiant or the Scamp though.
