We over slept and I had to take the 10 year old to school.. since it is the last day before spring break the school is in party mood. I walk into the office and these 4 girls 10-12 years old are doing some task organizing party bags.. and anyway they start whispering and looking at me... I shoot the stink eye at them... and they start saying.. " we were just talking about how you look like an old ICARLY" Im like huh... and another girl says " you like like you could be her mom..I love Carly" then another girl says "Yeah you dress real cool .. and wear your makeup cool...um not like most moms" so I come home and google her... um I look nothing like her.. she is like really cute, and she is 17.. meaning I look older then I am... or I look like a slut that got knocked up at 14. Anyway - my son seemed proud - and the mom waiting on her kid in the office looked pissed. but now I am wondering- um am I going to be one those old ladies that dress too young. Last time I was in Biloxi there was a few 70ish ladies dressed like off clock strippers in head to toe Ed Hardy. I turn 34 this year.. thats practically 35 and 35 is like almost 40. should I be wearing the elastic waist jeans and sweat shirts?
I'm 41. I've already begun to wear my Sans-a-belt slacks just under my armpits with my black socks and sandals. I need a tattered "wife-beater" to let my thick, gray, chest hair creep out and say, "howdy."
